Our senior, non-profit buildings have many opportunities for individuals to work for a few hours a week or month, on specific projects or general assistance. There is no experience needed, only a willingness to be helpful, caring, and friendly to the residents.

Some of the projects include:

• English as a Second Language
  Teach Russian immigrants English in a group classroom setting.
• Meal Program
  Help set up or serve or assist clean up from group meals served in the building community room.
• Exercise Program
  Teach or assist with senior aerobics in the building community room.
• Telephone/Receptionist
  Answer phones and greet the public for a few hours per week or month.
• Maintenance Work
  If you are good with your hands and like to keep busy, how about painting a room or other small light maintenance jobs
• Share your Life Skills
  If you have an idea for a program or workshop that you believe might be interesting or helpful in a senior apartment building, let us know.
